Anne of Green Gables

Another good book is Anne of Green Gables which was written by Lucy Maud Montgomery and was first published in 1908. Later published were 7 more novels completing the 8-book series. The other novels are entitled Anne of Avonlea, Anne of the Island, Anne of Windy Poplars (also known as Anne of Windy Willows), Anne's House of Dreams, Anne of Ingleside, Rainbow Valley, and Rilla of Ingleside. You can check for these books at your local library. They would proably have them.
